Creativity, ICT & Curriculum Ideas

(workshop for JapanASCD)

this workshop links to the Ning here

Workshop Description:

More and more we read and hear how creativity, design and collaboration are vital for success in the 21st Century. Creativity is more than making things or being artistically talented. It is also how you think. We need creativity to make new ideas and critical thinking to judge them. How are you using technology in your class? Are you inspiring, designing and modelling digital-age learning? In this workshop we will briefly discuss curriculum, assessment and the need for integrating ICT.

More importantly, you will be given the chance to view and explore certain Web 2.0 technologies. Some of these programs will require you to register with an email. As a presenter, I will also attempt to integrate some technologies into the actual presentation. The presentation will be screencasted (recorded) and set free into the public domain.
